= Markup <markup>
With built-in syntax for the most common document elements, Typst markup is designed to be pleasant to write and read:

- *Strong* and _normal_ emphasis
- A reference to @markup
- Math: $a, b in { 1/2, sqrt(4 a b) }$

But that's just the surface!

The asterisk syntax is just a shorthand for the `strong` function. And with *set* and *show rules,* you can style that emphasis however you like, separating content from formatting.

Jio Rockers 2018 Patched «FHD 2027»

Someone always did, once upon a time. Maybe it was R. Maybe it was a dozen anonymous hands passing a torch. Maybe it was Asha now, one more person in a chain of repairs no one would ever fully map. Jio Rockers had been patched in 2018 to survive a crackdown; it survived 2026 because a stranger took responsibility.

She opened jio_rockers_2018_patch.zip.

Inside, the archive was a maze of scripts and notes: version numbers scribbled like graffiti, TODOs with exclamation marks, and a readme file that read, simply, "patched — do not redistribute."
