"Slow Horses" is a British television series based on the novels by Mick Herron. The show premiered on Apple TV+ on April 1, 2022. The series follows a group of MI5 misfits who are relegated to a dead-end job at a remote country lodge, tasked with monitoring and handling low-priority domestic threats.

The story centers around Jackson Lamb (played by Gary Oldman), a brilliant but troubled agent who loses his London base and is relegated to this quiet 'slab' (a remote station).
